Our Story
Rukwadzano Rwe Wadzimai-USA (RRW-USA) covers the United States of America as a whole. It was established on November 17, 2020, under the leadership of Bishop and Mai Nhiwatiwa. We operate directly under Mai Bishop and the Zimbabwe Zambia Malawi Botswana Episcopal Area(ZEA) RRW of the United Methodist Church. Therefore, our vision, mission, core values and pathways align fully with those of the ZEA RRW.
RRW originated in Zimbabwe in 1929, led by pastors’ wives, including Mrs. Lydia Chimonyo, whose enduring legacy of prayer remains central to the organization’s identity. Alongside prayer and annual conventions, we are committed to empowering women and girls, fostering spiritual growth, leadership, and community service.
